The sort of movie I usually like, but a bit too silly.

4/10

Wasn't THAT bad. Personally I somehow managed to forgive the silliness and really enjoyed the atmosphere, acting and several very cool concepts. I think I saw it 3 or 4 times already and liked it even more every time.
And no, it's not as stupid as Prometheus. Now that was a silly movie.

I would have given it a 5/10 honestly. I was semi disappointed in it also. Prometheus was a monumental disappointment though. I went into that with much higher hopes judging from the previous films Alien/Aliens.

I finally got around to watching this after having it in my DVD collection since Christmas. I wouldn't call it the flawless masterpiece some make it out to be, but I enjoyed it a lot. Unlike plenty of other violent films it actually paces itself well and understands the value of just the occasional violent murder instead of filling the screen with gore at every opportunity. It's well-written, well-acted and well-directed and I'd certain call it a must-see.

While I can't be 100% sure as the site the image is located on doesn't allow hotlinking, I'm going to assume you're talking about Drive. I agree, the deliberate slow pacing of the movie after that intense opening scene did a really nice job of creating juxtaposition so when people's heads are getting blown off or stomped in, it really stays with you.

I've yet to see it, though I've been meaning to, in response to Pandorum. I heard it was pretty good from a list of sources, so I'm still anticipating seeing it.

Hmm, I get that a lot. I'll fix it.

Side Effects

saw this on the suggestion of a friend who normally has great taste in film.....he failed in this one....it was just overall a boring and very predictable movie....acting was eh....but that mainly had to do with the somewhat ridiculous script.....i would not even suggest renting this one

Warm Bodies.

Ok, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, it had alot of hilarious moments that weren't all shown in the trailer. Rob Corddry as M was the best. Maybe if you don't see it at the theater, definitely check it out on DVD or cable or whatever.
