Oh jesus this was good. Just the kind of stupidly over the top, gory, sexy film i like. Me and my mate were laughing the whole way through, complete victory. |

Much better than 'Deathproof'. What a yawn fest that was. @ theboozeisback. The original 'Dawn Of The Dead' is all you need. The remake was for MTV heads with less than 30 seconds of attention span. Who wants tits in a Zombie film? I want gore, good action and a little satire is even better. If you want tits and zombies watch this pile of old tosh: re-penetrator.com

Very rough around the edges but a great Grime soundtrack and the violence is raw and brutal. No punches are pulled.

The main problem with the new Dawn of the Dead IMO was the movement of the zombies...they could move faster than regular people...almost like they were super-human or something. It was really bothersome. But I did like the character of Steve. He was funny. Really, nothing can compare to the originals...the 1967 Night of the Living Dead will always be number one in my book for zombie flicks.

^ Steve was my favorite character in Dawn of the Dead. I love pricks in movies, I don't know why, it just does something for me. I think its because quip rhymes with whip.
I like the zombie films where the zombies are faster than the humans, it gets my heart racing more. I like it when the movie tries to scare me... but the best zombie film I've ever seen was Evil Dead, from like the 60s or 70s. That was good **** right there. |
