Must have seen this film about fifteen times and I never tire of it. I think that it is imaginative and uses lots of great filming devices and ideas. The director has'nt done anything since but he has a film in pre production so I will have to check that out.

Much better than I was expecting and although the film shifted it's focus away from the main character in the last third it is still good solid British cinema. In your face, violent, foul mouthed and a great soundtrack. A very worthy 2 hours of my time.

A better film than the Essex Boys.
Speaking of which and all things related...Range Rover murders. WARNING! Don't browse the crime scene photos if you have a weak stomach.

Very predictable, I called the ending about halfway through the movie.. the plot was pretty medicore and has been done before, but a few scenes made me jump.. so 6/10

I saw the new Mummy movie this past weekend. I liked it about as much as I liked the other two, and I didn't find it too distracting that Evy's character was played by a different actress, as I thought I would. I kinda have a crush on Jet Li, so that helped.

One of my favorite films of all TIME, man! Love con films. Grandpa turned me on to this one & all con films, really. Love the ragtime soundtrack as well. This is where The Entertainer gained the majority of it's fame from, and rightfully so, just fits the mood of the film perfectly. Cunning and wise, sly yet playful, catchy and just plain GOOD. You start watching things like this and you wind up a huge Martin Scorsece fan, like myself ha.

But uh, the most recent film I've watched... I watched Ramaro's Diary of the Dead last night... and all through the movie was trying to decide if I liked it. Kind of drove me nuts and I still haven't decided. It's a zombie film about kids trying to make a zombie film about the media toning-down a zombie ambush on the nation. Too many things to follow and too many annoying voice overs from the chick whose voice tries too hard to be "deep". It's a friggin' zombie film, I wanna see blood and guts and people getting ambushed, like Dawn of the Dead, there's my ideal zombie film. You've got an undead little girl brakin' in the nice suburban house with a hot, half-naked chick in bed with a stud. This was about 5 minutes into Dawn of the Dead. That's what I want - nonstop horror & action & tits, I want tits in a zombie film. I mean, they take over a mall and go nuts with the merch in the stores, the elitist-prick-character in the film even videotapes himself bending a hottie over the bar. THAT's a good zombie film. However, all that being said, I appreciate what Diary of the Dead was trying to say. But that's just too much symbolism for a zombie movie.
