Indeed. I realize that Lord of the Rings didn't really provide that much in terms of fully realized, in depth characters, but Orlando Bloom is just awful.

I never saw the appeal either. Bloom couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag.

Yeah but he's pretty, and if that sold it alone to idiot teenage girls then by all means have it it, their money helped speak loudly and ensured a geek dominated Hollywood with the confidence to actually give the fans what they want. I never cared much for Legolas as a character, or elves in general so it didn't bother me all that much.

I just checked his IMDB. Quite surprising that I enjoyed about 75 percent of the movies he participated in. I quite like the LOTR movies and the First Pirates movie. He also was in Black Hawk Down another good movie. Beyond that its a huge stretch for me to enjoy anything else he was a part of.
