It's a shame that John Hughes went truly mainstream once Home Alone hit it big as he lost that streak of subversiveness that permeated a lot of his early movies.

That reminds me, I really need to buy Weird Science!
holy shit man!.....i have not seen Who's Harry Crumb? in years......i used to love that movie!

personally i feel it's all about the films he wrote and directed....although looking over his extremely impressive writing career....i mean some kind of wonderful, christmas, european, and (1st) vacation, mr mom

dude was amazing....but you are absolutely right....pretty much the only movie i like post home alone is Dutch

i think i need to plan a Hughes film fest

What on Earth are you talking about?

The bane in DKR isn't as stereotypically bondangey man, at least its not a leather mask. You had to search to find a picture that was so erotic

he looks pretty bad ass in this jacket

...

Look janz i've already thrown in the towel dog. Were arguing about the eroticism of bane at this point it's our differences that make us great
Hey, you find the updated bondage mask sexier than the old bondage mask, that's okay. I'm not trying to come between you guys.

I don't know how to explain it without saying what i just said again. Raz Al Ghul leads "demonfang" which is a organization of ninjas and super assassins. In the comic he wanted bane to be the heir to it with talia, then he wanted batman, batman says no, talia chooses to follow raz.

It was the jacket that got me going but yes, the mask is cute too.

Where does the "immortal undead warriors" part come in?

sheesh bro

heres from the wiki (I'm no expert on batman btw)

""It has been whispered in the darkest places for 500 years that a cartel of criminals has slowly sucked its way into the rich veins of the Earth. Many are its names spit from the mouths of men, but most often it is cursed only as ...The Demon. It has a leader ... a Head."

Raz has been around for 500-700 years i assumed maybe some of his warriors were maybe undead or used the pit too. IDK it was slight hyperbole.

The last movie I saw was Sparky Defends the Dark Knight Rises. It was a little on the long side and the erotic scenes were a bit of a turn off, but I thought the acting and plot were decent. All and all I'd give it and 8 out of 10.
