Meant Bane, obviously. Too many Travel Channel specials for me it seems.

Jennifer by Dario Argento. Woman with grotesque face, sensational body, and cat like reasoning seduces Steven Weber. It really resounded with me.

Thought The Dark Knight Rises was mediocre at best. You know it's a bad sign when you're sitting there rooting for the villain to kill everyone and get it over with.

This film made it clear that the success of its predecessor hinged largely on the Joker. I don't just mean his performance, as stellar as that was; the duality, the polar clash of opposing ideas between Batman/Joker was pretty well executed and a delight to watch. Bane was... a very typical superhero villain who was given shockingly little character development and backstory. He did headline the most interesting scene in the film, which was unfortunately shown in the previews (the stadium blowing up), lessening the impact.

A lot of plot explanation was left up to the imagination of the audience as well, and that always sucks. (SPOILERS) I'm supposed to believe that every criminal and half-criminal in the city works for Bane from the get-go? I'm supposed to believe he can somehow quarantine an entire island just by blowing up the bridges? I'm supposed to accept a half-assed 5-sentence scene with the president as explanation for why Gotham is completely shut-off from the rest of the world for 5 months? You're telling me the might of the entire United States couldn't do anything to help aside from quarantine everyone in? And then don't get me started on Batman's miraculous escape from the pit... awful awful awful.

For 2-and-some-change hours, it felt like a 4 hour film. But since this is Christopher Nolan and Batman, I know everyone is creaming their pants over it.

The Dark Knight Rises. It was good but not as good as The Dark Knight which was elevated by Heath Ledger's Joker.

Also, saw The Grey. Its different and I liked it. Recommended.

keep in mind it's based off a comic book. You got spoiled by an amazing batman film in the dark knight.

This film is still great, your main complaint seems to be it's not believable enough. Bane had more back story than joker.

This is a BATMAN movie.

i just returned for seeing this for the third time

RVCA...i understand your complaints but like Sparky said it is a Batman film and will always be over the top and fantastical

personally i just could not get enough of it.....even after the third time this morning it was as good as it was on Friday.....sure there are some story flaws...but again it's a batman flick

within the first hour....i started thing that in no way is this going to be better than Dark Knight....but by the end i came to the realization that they can't even be compared....just such different movies

i felt Tom Hardy was spectacular and Anne Hathaway turned out to be an excellent Cat Woman

also even though they changed the story arc a bit....

Spoiler for spoiler:
i love the fact that they included Talia and that she had relations with both Bruce and Bane.....they always had troubles with this in the comics

and the inclusion of Robin was just very clever and in my opinion very well done....more of a throw out than and actually inclusion

i have to say the Man Of Steel teaser was beyond that.....damn it looks good

I don't feel like I could really say if Hardy did well or not. Seeing most of the person's face is integral for me at least.

He did great. His eyes were scary as hell, and he always does a great job bulking up (same with bronson)

Hardy didn't have the benefit of seeing a plethora of other actors tackle bane as with joker. He really had to come up with it from scratch.
