yes.
marion cotillard performance has some really bad instances but otherwise man this movie kicked ass

It wasn't bad, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed 'cause one of my friends was telling me how awesome it was and my expectations were way too high.

Yeah... it kind of flummoxed me when I saw that he was adapting a Dennis Lahane novel. I mean he's not a bad author, but he's kind of in the same bucket as Stephen King or Clive Barker, enjoyable, but not something that's going to profoundly change your life.
