Ahh. It was as good as I remembered.
Discovered this in a bin at Walgreens for 4 dollars. Success!

Batman Begins
9/10 One of the best superhero movies made, the only gripe is Katie Holmes.

I ended up watching Gigli last night, the film with J-Lo and Ben Affleck that was critically panned when it came out.
It was HILARIOUSLY bad. I'm pretty sure the idea of a plot was lost on these people.

I loved this. It is pretty medicore as a horror flick, but it made me laugh.

^^

I didn't think much of this on first view but it get's better with subsequent views. The rocket launcher scene is priceless!

Raided the old mans dvd cabinet earlier today & now have a stash of old B&W movies to watch like Ice Cold In Alex , Battle Of the River Plate , Brighton Rock , The Third Man & The Dambusters.

Very brutal old school violence but the 'cockney geezer' annoyed the hell out of me and the story was slight. Sly does'nt have nearly enough screentime but an enjoyable 90 minutes.

I agree, it didn't blow me away or anything, but like you said there are some pretty good moments. The bear claw/land mine incidents are great as well!

Good film if it wasn't for Mike Baldwin piloting a WW2 Lancaster bomber...could never quite get my head round that.

I love the forties tweed suit-wearing gangsters in the Brighton Rock. brilliant. Ice Cold In Alex and Third Man I love too. Top notch. Bagsy ****y Attenborough as 'Pinky' for avatar!

the new India Jones is so wrong... granted all the films of that franchise are adventure yarns that require suspension of disbelief but even they had their limits - 'Crystal Skull' is just way OTT and the whole thing felt like a ride at Universal Studios, Florida. It was never gonna be good after 19 years and five billion rewrites was it really? Saucy FX though innit.

anyway this were a dead good coming-of-age thingy (Josh Homme provides a good soundtrack aswell)
