Today I watched Serenity, completing any moments in the Firefly 'verse I'll ever have the pleasure of experiencing again. I think there's no shame in saying I cried at the ending.

Paranomal Activity 1! Actually, I'm about to watch it right now but I'm waiting for the trailers to pass.

Jesus Christ, what a steaming pile of shit that was. If you're not a total glutton for punishment, do not watch this, ever.

It's like a crappier Burlesque without real musical numbers, and Burlesque was awful. Horrible, contrived plot, mostly heinous acting...the worst sex scene I've ever seen in my life.

I think I'm actually legitimately angry that I watched that entire movie. Yeah. Legitimately infuriated.

not really heresy, III is awesome

most recent one I re-watched was the Andy Lau (90s Hong Kong idol) vehicle Dances with Dragon - silly romantic comedy based on The Prince and the Pauper, except both the Prince and the Pauper is the same person - hilarious but totally nonsensical

Midnight in Paris by Woody Allen - I am not a Woodly Allen's fan, but someone recommend it, so I watched it. AND I loved the movie. It touched parts that I had forgotten about myself. MUST WATCH!

I'm definetly watching this as well. Good to hear you liked it! Looking forward to it a little more now :)

I just saw Crazy, Stupid Love with Steve Carell. I liked it! It surprised me by being more funny and more touching than I thought it would be. Steve was good in his role without being annoyingly awkward. Recommended for those of you who can stomach romantic dramas/comedies.

edit :

Aaand just finished watching Midnight in Paris. Wonderful movie full of magic! Warmly recommended :)

my friends and i made it half way through our annual Friday the 13th-athon

next week the final 5 and maybe should there be time Freddy vs Jason :)

I haven't watched so many Friday the 13th movies actually. I've seen Part VI which was pretty horrendous and Freddy vs. Jason, but I haven't seen the earlier ones which I guess are the ones worth checking out.

Which is the best one?

my favorite out of all of them is "The Final Chapter".....jason starts to get very creative with the ways he kills people.....it has one of the better "stories"

you have to realize Tore that by this point pretty much all we do is get very drunk and just rip these films to shreds......i still love most of them.....but for the most part they can be pretty awful :)
