Still looks great after nearly 30 years. Hokey plot about cowboys finding a lost valley with dinosaurs but it is a childhood fave and the stop motion by the brilliant Ray Harryhausen still looks amazing. Was OK for a B movie. Fairly well acted and some nice stylistic touches. Just get's better every time I see it. A Taxi Driver for the 90's. Intelligent, hard hitting and at times very uncomfortable viewing.

^^I like the Spanish cover above better. Here is what it looks like from Amazon. I has much more of a "Oh God, this looks fcked up. I have to watch it!" appeal.
Anyway, "Good Will Hunting" was on WGN this weekend. Haven't seen it in a decade, but the "How do you like them apples?" line is just as quotable today as it was then. |
