you might enjoy it, it was the best one yet imo.

I saw it in 3-D but meh 3-D didn't really add to the movie much imo.

The combat scenes were pretty damn great with them using swords and guns

The Lost Boys: I'm sure you've already seen this, but if not it's pretty much the quintessential vampire movie of the '80's.

Cronos: Not exclusively a vampire film, but it was Guillermo del Toro's directorial debut and involves drinking blood and the struggle to stay human

Let The Right One In/ Let Me In: Let The Right One In is the Swedish equivalent of Twilight except it's less a focus on teenage heartthrobs and more a focus on the confusing and insecurities of 11-14 year old romance. Let Me In is the American remake which I haven't seen yet, but I've heard it's pretty good so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Fright Night: Pretty much what kick started the pairing of teenagers with vampires with elements of comedy, action, and horror.

From Dusk till Dawn: This is Robert Rodriguez (director) and Quentin Tarantino (screenplay writer/ actor) with George Clooney, Harvey Keitel, and Juliette Lewis in a western Vampire movie, so you already know it's gonna be good.

Bordello of Blood: I wouldn't say this is a good movie, but it has Dennis Miller, Corey Feldmen, a midget, and a pretty decent amount of nudity. It's a Tales from the Crypt keeper feature so it's not really intended to be taken seriously.

There's a lot of them out there, not all of them are great, but I think this list should be enough for right now.
Actually, I haven't seen Lost Boys even though it's a cult classic, not sure. I just never got around to it.

Cronos, I know nothing about. I think I have heard someone name drop it but that's about it.

Let The Right One In/ Let Me In, I have both of those movies on my netflix list....I should probably move them up and watch because they are pretty far down on it.

The last three you suggested , I have seen already numerous times except for Fright Night. I need to re-watch that one because I don't remember it too well.

i don't understand the hate - sure it's contrived and the subtext trite, but it was executed beautifully

Oh, and January Jones who was thoroughly disapointing as Emma Frost, even though she is fabulous and all that. This film was sassy.
i didn't like this much - too slow-moving until the middle and i thought Kevin Bacon sucked as Sebastian Shaw

but agree with you about the homoeroticism between Magneto and Proefessor X (they should have just followed Wolverine's advice, instead of becoming foes at the end) and January Jones

don't intend to see it in 3D, it's been getting pretty fair reviews so far

Lost Boys is a pretty fun cheesy 80s classic

Cronos, I think, is one of the better Del Toro movies, I liked it, but it might be a bit ponderous for you

Let The Right One In/ Let Me In - there's no point watching both, the second is almost a scene-by-scene remake of the first

if you do want to watch it, watch the original Swedish version

Keeping in mind that I watched a pirated version of Black Swan, maybe my copy was a bit ****ed or something, because I honestly didn't notice any of the shots as particularly great. I thought it was slow and boring and I didn't like any of the characters except Lily. Natalie Portman's character drove me up the wall, all in all. I didn't even get to enjoy the dancing much because of the constant fear something gruesome would happen after the finger thing. So I think yes, I will join the djchameleon club

I don't really like Kevin Bacon to be honest, but as he played a villain its easier to hate him for killing Erik's mum, rather than an actor I would have liked. And YAAAAY, they are so gay for each other. Its adorable. After I saw it I felt like weeping kittens from the cuteness. Those bits where they just looked into eachothers eyes and like, cried. I saw a gif the other day which was a play on that 'Peace was never an option' line which said 'Heterosexuality was never an option'. I love fangirls. Wolverine's cameo was good, even though its always slightly pissed me off that Hugh Jackman is nothing like the real comic version of Wolverine's ment to be. But hey, thats Hollywood. I know, JJ was a disappointment. And I love her so much in Mad Men

my copy of Black Swan is pirated as well, it is a bit "staggered" - Natalie Portman's character is meant to be a whiny bitch - i thought the whole presentation of the idea of duality was done well, but well, as they say, one man's Black Swan is another man's Catwoman

i dunno, Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine is not faithful to the comics, but i like his version - but it is of course Jackman's Wolverine and not Marvel's Wolverine - i think if they wanted to stay that faithful to the comics, they should have gotten Russell Crowe to play him

Hahha oh God, do not get me started on Catwoman.

I'm happy they chose Hugh Jackman, as he is really good in the character he plays. But he completely re-defines him. I agree with what you say about his Wolverine and Marvel's Wolverine. They are completely different, but HJ plays his version well and makes him very convincing. If I wasn't a fan of the comics beforehand, I'd totally vouch for him being the man, rather than slightly holding the 'he should be short and charming' grudge.

Frailty (2002)

Directorial debut for actor Bill Paxton about a widower who believes God wants him and his sons to destroy demons masquerading as real people. Very well presented and subtle in the way it does horror. It's not particularly grotesque but it still manages to get across a sense of unease and dread without relying on cheap tricks. It also works well on a psychological level too, leaving you to question if Bill Paxton and his family really can see demons, or whether they're just killing innocent people. If you're into psychological thrillers I would highly recommend this one.

Just watched Memento...

...and spent a day regretting myself for not seeing it sooner.

Who's the caboose...

It wasn't good at all. I expected more especially with such a good cast.
