I wondered if it was tongue in cheek, but I have a feeling it wasn't.
That said, I can't really see where they could possible take it. They should leave it alone, it's a pretty solid trilogy. |

I think this would've been a great movie if it was like an hour and a half. There were some undeniably creepy(that guy being at his house and the party at the same time) and undeniably awesome(the car chase/beatdown like an hour and a half in) moments but overrall it just felt overdone. It was still decent and I'm glad I watched it I guess I'll give it a 6/10. This is the first time I've seen the whole movie, and I really liked it. Man I think that Sean guy might be the least likeable character I've ever seen in any movie though holy ****. 9/10 I thought this was a pretty sweet movie, overall really funny and with a good, almost bitter ending. I really enjoyed it. 8/10 |

I was guessing each plot point as I watched as it was so full of cliches but it had some decent set pieces and a nice underlying sense of humour. The goat is killer. I would watch it again I think.

So I saw this instead: Actually pretty funny. Nowhere near a top tier comedy, but I got a lot of laughs out of it. |

I wonder how much like Bad Santa that movie is like. Not that it's a bad
thing mind you, as Bad Santa was pretty good. Anyhoo this was my latest film. Pretty enjoyable neo-noir indie flick. Well written with a fun "whodunit" feel to it. The use of the old hardboiled detective jargon made it a little hard to follow at some parts, but it never got in the way too much. I would definitely recommend it if you like mysteries. |
