I love Tim Burton as a director.
Has anyone here seen Across the Universe? |

as far as trippy films - not sure if this has been mentioned, but eXistenZ definitely falls into the WTF category. its virtual reality theme and its classic Cronenberg stomach-wrenching rawness make for a wonderfully freaky film. as long as you can get past the fact that Jude Law is the lead... |
^ Yeah, agreed. Alice in Wonderland looks pretty amazing, although I've been disappointed with a couple of his recent films I really don't think he's lost his edge just yet.
Definitely my favourite trippy film is Waking Life... why so much hate for it? I don't think it's pretentious at all. |

I don't know about the rest of you, but I thought this was one weird movie. I enjoyed it though. |
Coraline was awesome! which reminds me, i gotta go find it in HD :D

Without a doubt the trippiest movie I have ever seen is Synechdoche New York.

anyone else see this? one of the best of 2009 and a seriously provocative film at that. |
