Funny Games was really intense. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch a horror movie the same way again.

It does fuck with audience expectations very well. Have you checked out Hidden (Cache) by the same director? Another excellent film that plays upon perception.

I saw that a while ago, the only thing I remember clearly about it was the guy slitting his throat. I should probably watch it again... in any case I download Benny's Video, The Piano Teacher, and Time of the Wolf so I'll be working through those in the next couple days. I love discovering good directors

I also have Road to Wellville and Liquid Sky waiting to be watched, they both seem pretty interesting.

pfff, looks like no one knows about the films from The Residents. Look it up or die of banality

Vileness Fats is pretty incomprehensible, but a lot of their computer generated stuff is interesting.

Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas is probably the most memorably bizarre movie I've ever seen followed by one of the movies by David Lynch, maybe Brazil.

I don't think Yellow Submarine's been mentioned here (or it has and I'm finally going blind). That is one strange movie
