Gilius Thunderhead.
He's in that Sega Superstar Tennis game that just came out. You know, I think it would be cool if they made a Nintendo vs Sega crossover fighting game. That would be sweetness. |

An interesting bump because i've realised i haven't had a say on it since i got it nearly 2 months ago!
It's always going to be difficult to judge how much i like this game because Melee was a game i spent many many many hours playing and quickly became my fave game ever. High hopes since its the sequel. Nothing majorly new with the game really, same old formula. With any other game this would annoy me and i could see why it would annoy others but due to my love all i can say is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. I didn't want anything radical, i just wanted it all with more characters, items and what-not, and thats what i got. Still a large amount of clones but i can forgive them for the gifts that are Sonic and Snake. The internets a pile of crap to be fair. Quite slow half the time, and you're only really going to have lots of fun if you're with friends with those fucking friendcodes. Just do away with them and let people know who they're playing WITH LEADERBOARDS DAMMIT. That said, the mode where you bet on others is quite addictive. So basically it's an update of the same old game i love, with faults where it should have excelled. Fave game ever? I'm going to hold my breath for now, as much as i'm loving it i don't think it had the same impact it had when Melee first landed... |

This is easly now my favorite game, I don't know why people were expecting a radical departure or anything, like you said it just takes everything about Melee and makes it better. Every character is fun to play, the stages are better, the new items are great (especially the final smash), the soundtrack is amazing, the graphics are great dispite what anyone says (geez what where they expecting? Photorealistic versions of pink puffballs and blue hedgehogs?) and they left out techniques like wavedashing and SHFFLing but I'm glad they did, this game requires a little more strategy for competitive players, they can't rely on all the exact same tricks from Melee.
I liked Subspace, fun enough Kirby-esque platformer, though they made that last stage way too tideous. It's a great game already, all the Nintendo stuff and references here just make it a fanboys wet dream. Still wanted Mega Man though. |

I'm crossing my fingers that the sequel will be like one of those uber-massive Capcom vs Marvel games with about 70 characters. I want everyone in that poll apart from Spyro, Crash Bandicoot and Earthworm Jim because they're just terrible. I'm upset i was the only one who voted for Ryu actually.

Earthworm Jim terrible? Now c'mon, that's a classic game and a classic character.
Sure, he has absolutely NO chance of ever being in a Smash Bros game, but he would be a great choice. Next Smash Bros should definitely have Mega Man, Simon Belmont, Bomberman, Knuckles, Tails and Pac Man IMO. Those are the only other third party reps I really want. |

I liked supspace a lot, I liked the way it combined Kirby style platforming with a beat em up. That being said I do have a few complaints. 1. Last stage is way too much trouble 2. Using the trophy stands is a pain in the ass, the rarer enemies are so damn hard to get and you rarely get trophy stands when you need them, particularly after you have collected all the most common enemies, even when you up the difficulty so they appear more often it's still difficult. Plus you lose the stands when you go through doors which is bullsh*t. 3. The levels are meant to accommodate, well, the platformer characters, like Mario and Kirby. Heavier characters like Bowser, Dedede and Ganondorf make things a little more fustrating. |
