x factor ...
...im just going to assume i'm the first to post a thread about it. Anyone watching the new series? i get bored after the auditions....No 'special' people left to laugh at then, and usually still no talent found, that ben guy would have been alright if he hadn't followed the rest of the ****ing finalists in every series and released some ****ty one off cover album to kick off their career. Anyone actually listen to that pile of ****? not only was it a bad idea in the first place but what a **** selection of covers, i expected that little toy soldier guy to come out and suck but i gotta say i was a little disappointed with that Ben dude, His cover of Maggie may and live and let die were quite good, thought there might be some hope,
come to think of it, out of all these competitions and all these millions of auditions anyone actually remember someone coming out and making a decent career out of it that weren't completely ****e? |

Danni Minogue said that she ended her singing career to do this series.
My first thought was 'What singing career?

X Factor
Hey guys I'm one of these people that watch the auditions but not the later on stuff (apart from Susan Boyle).
New Zealand will be getting one soonish and I'm thinking of trying out. Do you think it would be stupid? I can't decide whether I'll try out or not. I have too many songs I could do, I think maybe if I record a youtube video and show you all my singing to get your opinion? Aside from that, does anyone watch it? Or plan on watching the U.S. one?

Nah, I don't really care for it. It's nice for the people who like stuff like that, but I prefer listening to music that is already good .
That, and I literally don't watch TV except for top gear.

If your X Factor is anything like the UK X Factor you'll need to devise a backstory that shows how your life has been really hard and has taken an emotional toll on you, and that winning this is your last chance at making something of yourself. Then later on when they get you to sing a ballad everyone will cry and say 'you were singing that for your dead lover/parent/whatever' and will give you the pity vote.
If you are a good singer as well it'll help lol. |
