Godfather 2 & 3 were basically ****.


Two Towers and Return Of The King weren't.

The Godfather II was sh*t? Have you ever seen it? C'mon. Go watch it, then your opinions on it will be taken seriously.

I have seen it. It's on constant re-run on AMC or Bravo, all ****ing day everyday. It's just not up to the standard that the first Godfather set, so therefore I don't hold it that highly.

The Godfather II is incredible, many argue that it is even better than the first. Maybe you disagree, but saying it is sh*t is just ridiculous.

I see how some may like 2 over the first, but I just don't think it holds a candle to 1.
Anywho, when I called it ****, I didn't mean anything by it, seeing as how I called 300 **** too.
I only like watching gangster movies with wanton bloodshed and violence.
Hence, my favorite gangster movie is Goodfellas.

the godfather is more of a family drama, with the backdrop being mob era-new york, wheras Goodfellas is more a straight up gangster movie.

The second Godfather is just as good as the first IMO. 3 is pretty mediocre though.

Yeah Godfather 3 is a let down, but the strength of the first two is good enough to get my vote. Part 2 is a subliminal piece of work. Has anyone ever read the source material? To say it's an airport novel is an understatement. Francis Ford Coppolla done a stunning job with his screenplays.

Godfather II>>>Godfather I....I mean it has De Niro and Strasberg for gods sake.

So? The first one has Brando, a far superior actor to both Strasberg and De Niro.
