Yeah, there are a lot of Godfather fans that actually deny it is a trilogy because they hate the third so much, or just ignore its existence.

I think the third film gets too much hate. It's nowhere near as good as the first two but I still thought it was pretty good.

then i guess i'd say star wars. i tried watching the 3rd godfather but it bored me so quickly that i didn't bother.

The 3rd Godfather is what lets down the trilogy somewhat. I found it decent but the plot was nowhere up the level that the first two films set.

Goofle's avatar reminded me, Evil Dead I, III, and Army of Darkness are a fantastic trilogy.
