Anyone else here do MAL? I don't keep up with mine very well and there's plenty of stuff I haven't added that I watched before setting mine up.

Hell yes you can
The corona virus may be a bitch, but it ain't got **** on how much of a bitch Kamille is, and I need you to binge that **** right now so we can trash talk him together |
Alright I'm halfway into episode 1 and there's just something utterly amazing about the art design and animation style of the first decade of Gundam shows that simply emanates "perfect sci fi visuals". Mobile Suit Gundam has it, Stardust Memory has it, and Zeta definitely has it as well. It's that same feeling I get when I watch the first Star Wars trilogy or 2001: A Space Odyssey. Even Star Trek doesn't consistently have it cause the TV budget grounds the visuals. But old school Gundam definitely does. That feeling of a sci fi universe perfectly conceived and perfectly wrought.

Oh and I can't even bitch about Kamille being a bitch cause the first episode just makes him look like a maniac. Skips class to go watch some space thing, decks a soldier in a military installation for saying his name sounds girly, gives the stinkeye to military police holding him in custody for presumably hours, decks the military police guy who's about to release him after insulting him and getting a binder thrown at his head, escapes custody, steals a military jeep under gunfire, and then jumps out of the ****ing jeep while it's still moving.
Like who the **** is this psycho and how am I supposed to relate to him? |
