Starting Evangelion again while drunk and maybe with a week off I'll actually make it all the way through. I've watched this series so many times in my late teens and early/mid-twenties but it's been a while since I actually marathoned the series properly. Man is Misato my character of choice these days. An alcoholic who can't deal with life and people but who desperately tries to fill an emotional void with tainted human contact.

I don't even particularly remember what happened in the 2nd and 3rd one.

Samurai Flamenco is good stuff, bruh. Like if One Punch Man was about an idiot with no actual super powers.

Today at FYE I picked out the first season of Jojo to show a friend who was asking what's current in anime and some teenage girl ran up all excited and then realized I was a stranger and was like, "Oh... are you going to buy that?" I'm like, "Uh... no..." and hand it over and she's just super enthusiastic. A few minutes later I mocked her for liking Tokyo Ghoul. And then I bought Screaming for Vengeance for four bucks.

Kill La Kill is brilliant anime for the sake of anime. The animation is on another level, the plot is outrageous and pure fun, and the fan service exists to be fan service but also exists as a pure form of everything that is anime and fun. 10/10 show. The haters are simply morons. It is literally the perfect anime.

And now I'm rewatching Berserk 97 cause I've been buying more volumes of the manga and I have now up to volume 10 with more volumes coming in the mail and I'm not trying to read too far so I'm getting my Berserk fix by watching the OG anime. God damn Berserk is one of the greatest thing to ever come out of anime/manga.
