Well the card game is incredibly easy to learn, so if he has enough cards for a couple decks that's something you could do.

He's tried to teach me. What I'm worried about is that after buying him all of these cards, when he plays against other kids, when he loses, do they keep his cards?

Oh no, at least that was never a thing when I was a kid. Maybe some have made bets like that, but that's never been part of the actual game.

Get him a Pokemon game. That **** is crack for kids. And adults. And whichever I qualify as.

Or just capture some squirrels and hit them until they fight for you

There aren't many squirrels around here. Can I substitute elderly people that live across the road from me?

That's one step away from Bumfights. Not to say that's uncool or anything.

I had a neighbor a few years back who moved in from the projects. He named his pitbulls after Pokemon and made 'em fight. Funny dude.

Finished Mobile Suit Gundam

Those last few episodes were some next level ****. You can almost see the moment where they got told that their ratings were dropping and they were probably going to get cancelled, and took the opportunity to ditch all of the (admittedly fun) enemy-mech-of-the-week stuff and cut straight to the awesome drama that they wanted to tell from the beginning.

The duel in Texas. Amuro and Lalah ramping up their reflexes to the next level while psychedelically mind****ing each other. Kycillia shooting Ghiren in the back of the head, and then getting her face exploded by Char right before her ship explodes and kills everyone. The final battle between Amuro and Char, where they tear each other's mobile suits to pieces.

****ing awesome.
