i knew there was a manga but never really thought to look into it....think i'll add it to my growing list

just watched the first episode of Elfen Lied....love the fact that she killed someone by forcing his heart out of his body and that it landed on another person....very clever....think i'm gonna like this show :)

FMA:Brotherhood

Gets really good once you make it to the 4th season. The script and characterization were much more interesting in the original series, but it's hard to argue that the larger plot is superior in this version.

Why do anime's invest so much into having multiple intro/outro song sequences? This series has like 6 or 7 of each.

I finally started Madoka last night. I have to break the three episode rule, because I'm honestly not sure if I think it's awesome or boring.

I'd suggest to keep watching until the third episode, as that's where the series starts to reveal it's true nature.

Just posting to mention that I just started the manga, and I'm incredibly disappointed so far. It's not awful by any means, but it completely lacks the atmosphere that made Tsutomu Nihei's other works (Blame, Biomega, NOiSE, etc., all of which are great reads, BTW) so great IMO. I'll probably give it a couple of volumes to see if it gets any better, though.

I like:
Ghost in the Shell
Ergo Proxy
Cowboy Bebop
I also really love the Akira manga, but hate the movie.

I saw the Grappler Baki ova yesterday and it was great!
the animation is a little outdated but the fighting was brutal.

im also watching Honey & Clover cause i wanted to try an anime in that genre and so far the series is great.
The characters have more depth than your usual anime characters and they stuff they say feels emotionally honest, not a cliché.

Also the intro to the series is misleading as f*ck.
