I've always wondered who it was by. Back in the day I used to try and figure out the guitar parts by ear (because they're just so damn catchy!), but it's hard when the show is only on once a week (goddamnit adult swim) and you have to do it from memory. Thanks for the info!

yeah, if you're getting soundtracks for FLCL by them, i suggest getting FLCL No. 3, cause the first two soundtracks are just snippets of the songs/side music from the show where 3 is a collection of the original vocal versions from the band

Hi everybody I'm not sure if someone already asked or has mentioned this since I only skimmed through eight or so pages of this thread but I was chasing some anime with a dark twisted theme like the Boogiepop Phantom series. Any recommendations? It would be much appreciated.

All time favorite anime is Outlaw Star. I was so engaged in the story and when it ended I was like DOWHATNOW?!?!?

Trigun definitely stands up there as well, Vash The Stampede is pretty much my favorite anime character ever.

I recently found out that they're making a series of movies based on the Berserk manga series and I'm stoked. I don't watch/read much anime/manga anymore, but Berserk is one of the few exceptions. Absolutely fantastic series, but the original anime left out the majority of the storyline of the manga and cut a lot of stuff out of what they did adapt. So if they're gonna finally fix that, like the Hellsing OVAs are doing with that series, then I. Am. Stoked.

Has anyone seen Attack On Titan? Its fairly new, and some of the best animation I've ever seen. Interesting and entertaining plot as well. I'm definitely hooked.

Been watching it: I was familiar with the manga before it aired too, but I have to say the anime is far more fluid than the manga -- quite enjoyable.

I just heard about it so I may check it out soon, from the tiny snippets I've seen it looks insane.
