What a horribly misleading signature then.

Oh No! The dumbasses are ganging up on me.
Trigun features: A few good action scenes with too many fillers in between. A idiotic at first, but actually very strong protagonist who *GASP* will not kill others because of some idiotic moral code. And some tragic past involving some hot chick and the main villain. Too many times.

Other plus sides: the anime doesnt run for a billion episodes the manga is really dark and grotesque after the first two books |

I loved dragon ball Z, but once you got so far with that one you only watched it because it was DBZ and no other real reason. the final saga was TERRIBLE. lol |

First off what's wrong with a moral code? And second, I thought the backstory was excellent, it has a pretty original setting too.
Trigun is amazing, I don't care what anyone says. Quote:
Of all the long anime, only Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist have really hold my attention. |

Ichigo becomes a real badass once he achieves bankai and gains his hollow powers though.
I love the way the characters progress throughout the show and are always improving. The main characters are powerful, but they're not ridiculously overpowered like DBZ characers, And theres no whole episodes of just powering up bullsh*t either, and the show actually has character development, the cast is big yet the manga and anime both take their time exploring every character, giving their backstory. My favorite characters have to be Rukia, Kenpachi, Ikkaku, Urahara and Ishida, but there's a lot of great characters in the show IMO, though it's easy to be annoyed by the likes of Kon and Keigo. One thing about the show that's hard to get over is the fact that no one important ever dies, which gets in the way of suspense, then again, a spirit would have to be pretty f*cking hard to kill. |

i think i just got over the way the anime was done. i kept on reading the manga for a while but it just seems to have gotten totally pointless and yea there was none of the powering up bullsh*t, but the manga for dbz kicked MAJOR ass. powering up took a max of a 1 page spread. maybe 2 pages if he so decided to make a really awesome picture |

DBZ was great. My favorite of the series was the Freezia or whatever part, when goku first goes super saiyan.
The cell saga was pretty cool too. IT was annoying how you would have to go through 10 episodes of people just flexing the muscles or powering up their kamehamaha or whatever before they started fighting HIS POWER LEVEL IS OVER 5000!! |
