Ugh, I've started reading The world according to Garp. I'm already struggling and I'm only 60 pages in! I really had high hopes for this one...:\

Irving can sometime start off slow but he's always a great read. I think you'll especially like this one though. I always recommend people to start off with A Widow for One Year by Irving. The man's a genius though, he's written so many amazing books with probably only one weak one.

I particularly loved Garp though, Jenny Fields reminded me of myself for some reason, but Roberta Muldoon is by far the best character. I won't say anymore in case you haven't reached that part yet though, lol
