![]() ![]() Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets Written by the lead writer for the phenomenal HBO show The Wire. A first person account of David Simon's year interning with Baltimore's Homicide unit. A great view into the lives of police, the red tape, the apathy, and the drama. Definitely not the book for everyone as it is incredibly bleak, but as an up-and-coming LEO (Law Enforcement Officer), this is a brilliant look at what's to come ahead. |
