![]() ![]() Feed by Mira Grant An interesting allegorical look at how the world of Journalism will inevitably change due to the rise of blogging. It's one of those rare zombie books where the world did not fall apart, where technology has been forced to thrive. It's pretty influenced by I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, as well as George Romero (who is a kind of folk hero in this story). It's definitely not as good as World War Z by Max Brooks, however I don't think any piece of zombie literature is going to top that book any time in the near future. My only major complaint is that the overall story is taking far too long to unfold, I'm already 200 pages in and I am not sure exactly what the overall plot of the story is going to be about, and I still have another 300+ pages to go so it's slow building, but it's obviously good if I'm still reading it. |
