Animal Farm seems like it would be similar to 1984 because it also starts off pretty slow. However, it's super interesting as you keep reading, especially if you're interested in communism because it parallels the book really well.

At the moment, I'm about to finish Zen an the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, which has been a brain **** so far but I'm really enjoying it.
