I'm sad to say that I've never read a Stephen King book ever, until this one. But what a great place to start. I feel like I've been missing out on something wonderful. The character development is spot on, detailed but not boring and makes you feel connected to the story and the people. This book has "MOVIE" written all over it!

Then, this is next on my list to read:
Push - Sapphire

It's short, which I think I will need after reading 1075 pages of King. Plus, the story seems interesting and personal. I haven't seen the movie (Precious), so I'm looking forward to the book that much more.
Is that Stephen King book new? I don't recognize it. Another great one by him is The Shining, which I'm sure you've probably heard of.

I thought you said The Shining was one of your favorite movies? Though I guess the book and the movie have some major discrepancies. I appreciate both of them for their differences.
