Really? I agree that morality is pretty boring from an aesthetic standpoint.

There are exceptions like Thoreau and Tolstoy where their lifestyle was intrinsic to their art but in general a strong orthodoxy makes Jack a pretty dull boy.

I’m thinking woke hip hop or Fugazi. Basically something too sanitized.

I don't think you get what I mean. I don't care if artists are bad people, they can still make great art, and making your morality a preachy part of your identity as an artist is annoying. I'm just cringing at Elph's attitude towards 'Art'
