I actually do miss her even after all these years as I've almost never met someone so honestly adamant on making an intimate connection with a perfect stranger, and I know it's partly because I was helping her son and she was probably desperate for help (he was really in a bad situation where I'd have to leave the room every time he'd need to shit cause she'd come in with a jug and that's not for non-family eyes) and felt gratitude, but I think if I'd just been a rando at a family dinner she'd have treated me exactly the same. Some people are just good in a way I'll never understand.
