I just finished 'John Dies @ The End' by David Wong. He's the editor-in-chief at Cracked.com. Don't let that deter you or think that this novel is just a bunch of fluff. The book is described as 'the author's attempt to present soul-sucking lunacy and succeeding with flying colours'. I agree. It was fantastic.
I'm taking a little reading break in the meantime. Going to tackle David Foster Wallace's 'The Infinite Jest' in the new year. I think I need to psyche myself up for this one, I've never managed a 1000+ page book before. |
