I don't know how that book got so much attention, maybe because of the name, but I happen to read it a couple of months ago and I thought it was a bore personally, but if you like it more power to you.

I've been reading a collection of things like
Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy
and the biography of Carole King, Carly Simon, and Joni Mitchell
I think it's called 'Girls Like Us' or something like that...

Of course. Unless the book is bad. And so far, I have yet to see a good adaption of a bad book.
