Yeah, that Wang book is good, required reading.
I'll have to bring that out again - especially with all of
the extra attention these days. Plus, I like semiotext(e).

For sure. The reason why I finally decided to pick it up was due to the current political climate in the US. My partner has been reading The End of Policing for the same reason.

The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick by Peter Handke

A really intense short novel about everyday things losing their sense of meaning.

Or a man’s increasingly intense inability to make sense of his reality.

It really progresses meticulously and takes you along on a difficult mental journey.

Influenced by Camus, at least for the book - he won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2019 which created a fuss because he defended and supported Slobodan Milošević. This book was written all the way back in 1970 though and is the first I’ve read of his.

That sounds like an intriguing book and has a great title.

I'm not reading it right now, but anyone who has enjoyed "Into The Wild" by Jon Krakauer should be interested in this news item:-

Loved that book. Saw that story.

Alexander Supertramp is one of my favorite heros.

Suelo and the book about him The Man Who Quit Money is also very inspiring.
