Started "Mastery" by Robert Greene, stopped, and went to these two at the same time just one chapter each at a time.

I am taking photos of the pages each chapter at a time and reading on the phone. I read "The 48 laws of power" before but it was years ago and I have changed. Already read "Keep Calm And Carry On" also but just feel it's worth reading again.

Katherine Anne Porter: Collected Stories and Other Writings (Library of America #186)

Seldom mentioned in popular contemporary lit discussions Porter's short fiction was very good - Pale Horse, Rider makes for a good intro (covers the pandemic of 1918) if you've not read her novel, Ship of Fools.

So the fact that the book inspired real life action makes you NOT interested in reading it? I mean doesn’t literature transcend what you agree with? That fact that it inspired action, whether disagreeable or not, is proof of the power of his words.
