The Makioka Sisters by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki

Just polished off this Big Sam. Third book I’ve read by Tanizaki. Beautiful prose.

I gotta write a whole essay on the Nathaniel Hawthorne story, I barely know what's going on, let alone type 3 pages about it

I need to learn to never under-estimate my writing abilities ....

Got more done on the first what ill jab at it. got a intro,2 strong body paragraphs, some of a 3rd and working on a nice conclusion about life in general as my... "wow" ...

my thesis is "to appreciate beauty on the inside and not worry about the outside appearance as much" and that its a point a view type story, i guess that was important

yeah but only 10% of the essay...

MS Word corrects an INSANE amount of stuff for me

if i need further grammar help I have the student success center to get a tutor to help but im saving that for my big paper at the end, we are doing 10 essays and i dont want to go to 10 tutor appointments, if i did that every week. its not that hard for me if i apply myself. granted this new instructor hasnt graded that first essay of the O'Connor story
