Hell no I love both. But then again I am part dude. Have only read Steinbeck's the Grapes of Wrath yet though, but East of Eden is first in my line of books to read. I've heard so much praise of it.

![]() This was the last book I read. I don't read all that much anymore but my fiance gave it to me and said I would like it. As usual, she was right. It's about an elderly, cynical and angry man who decides he is going to commit suicide but each attempt gets inadvertently thwarted somehow. There is also a second timeline running throughout that explores his childhood and, mostly, his relationship with his wife. It's funny, sweet, tender and in places very sad. |

Reading different versions of The Bible slowly in an attempt to take everything in. I must have gone over the first few verses of Genesis thousands of times over the years, but I never remember to push on. I also want to look into reading "The ___'s Bible" type of books to see if the title is actually fitting.

You can read more about this character on the author's blog where he was created. His readers petitioned him to write a novel about the character. I would say that is about as unique an origin story as you can get.

Google Translate gone wrong...
Songs needed the variety above average
and had to suffer in dry periods sooner. With this you will want to turn loud the music. My one is quiet loud now. The plant was heavily dogged by a deer. The mainbud, although I had not circumcised, became very very fat too. If the strain tastes and bites as it smelled in the blossom, then I'm not more approachable. A real star between the others, year man. And with the other two, you could not speak of income. They were also tweaking. A pity. |
