I'm glad you're here to inform us that the Nazis were pretty bad guys and that the Holocaust was kind of a flub.

Flub? Not bad, just unsuccessful?

I'd say it was something of a blunder.

No, it was interesting within the first couple pages, but it's not very well written and has some serious cheese at times.. It's your typical dystopian, high tech society novel for YAs. I might try reading one of the more classic sci-fi novels when I finish the trilogy.

Susan Sontag - Against Interpretation (essay collection)
Finally got my hands on this one. I'm almost through the first two essays, "Against Interpretation" and "On Style" and it's some pretty interesting stuff. Not hard to read either. Thankfully, she's written a fair amount of non-fiction like this, so I know what I'm going to be reading up through 2018. |

Just finished Flowers in the Attic
Sold like 40 M in the 80s Pretty creep And realistic too - reminded me a lot of that weird “school” where the parents had the kids trapped. I found it more disturbing that the newer southern noir I’ve read.
