I just got finished reading David Lipsky's book length David Foster Wallace interview - "Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself". I enjoyed it immensely and would wish I had more, but I don't. So now I have to figure out what to read next. I'm considering reading Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" or maybe that book I have about Christianity. They both feel appropriate for the coming season.

Raptor who tries to take Grayson under his wing as the better batman is interesting because it's like what if Batman was a poor orphan rather than a rich one

and he uses some 99% vs 1% rhetoric, and he gets a bunch of evil rich people killed to collect a bounty that he donates to refugees

but the story never really justifies why he's the bad guy and Batman is the hero it just kinda flirts with the idea to make Raptor more sympathetic

so I feel like if the writers had more balls they'd have Batman defeat Raptor but Nightwing turn against him because he's a poor orphan himself and that'd be the reason he ditches Gotham

it's like how Nolan's 3rd film builds up a bit of it by basing themes in the film on Tale of 2 Cities but really goes nowhere making for some confused nonsense writing
