I was going to read this a few years back, but then my school librarian told me not to because I'd just be bored by it!
![]() Right now it's Netherland by Joseph O'Neill, which is absolutely spectacular. Definitely deserves all the praise it's been getting! It's also encouraged me to go re-read The Great Gatsby, which I'll pick up when I'm done. |

Melville isn't for those who don't like reading I'd think. I've never read Moby but I read two of his other works and the writing is archaic. Beautiful but arcane to be sure.
