I was going to read this a few years back, but then my school librarian told me not to because I'd just be bored by it!
Right now it's Netherland by Joseph O'Neill, which is absolutely spectacular. Definitely deserves all the praise it's been getting! It's also encouraged me to go re-read The Great Gatsby, which I'll pick up when I'm done. |

Melville isn't for those who don't like reading I'd think. I've never read Moby but I read two of his other works and the writing is archaic. Beautiful but arcane to be sure.
