Still reading Barker's 'Books Of Blood'.
It's entertaining and all, but holy ****,
are some (quite a lot actually) of the stories ridiculous.

These days I mostly read DIY books about things like home cheesemaking.

High school though, I was a huge Stephen King fan. The last book of his that I read was "Under the Dome," and was very disappointed. I like his short stories better for reason. Like "The Ride"... I think they made that into a movie but don't remember.

I've been reading this when I go sell plasma, my only complaint isn't even around the writing of the story but rather the blocky way the book is formatted. At first I just thought it was the epubs I pirated so I actually bought a physical copy (although I would have eventually) and yeah, same deal. Short margins and really blocky paragraphs.

What's your favorite story?
