This is my first foray into Bukowski's mad and deranged writing. Read it in two days, it's bloody brilliant. If at all interested in booze, detectives, babes, guns, blood, space aliens, birds, and everything in between, I'd hope you give this a read.

Interesting. Che Guevara travels basically all of South America with his bestfriend on a shitty small motorcycle. The people they meet (who surprisingly are always amiable towards them) and the ground they covered shaped, especially Che, their political beliefs and the men they eventually became. Enjoying it quite a bit.

Battle Royale and The Hunger Games at the same time? It's obvious that THG was "inspired" by BR. Would love to hear your review of the two books once you're finished with them.

Went over this in my fairy tale class.. I'm still waiting for my copy to come in the mail. It's a cool combination of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Beautiful art and it's written by Neil Gaiman who is apparently an amazing author, I've only read Neverwhere by him.

Check out American Gods by him. Won the Hugo and Nebulla awards the year it came out. Less than 2 dozen novels have won both awards so it's kinda a big deal.
