I'm reading Spinoza now and I, Pierre Rivere, Did Some Things, which are fascinatingly mind crushing and super intriguing without the analysis section, respectively,

I've seen some posts about Gravity's Rainbow on here, but has anyone read Inherent Vice or, in another sense, can anybody affirm Thomas Pynchon's work? PT Anderson is doing Inherent Vice and I'm thinking on reading it over winter break before the movie hits theatres.
Additive: I see someone liked Gravity's Rainbow and someone did Not. Any other opinions as well?

I don't think I'm ever going to get far enough to understand that reference.
The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Stories by H.P. Lovecraft 'Tis the season as they say, not that I feel bound to specific times of years to read Lovecraft, but I started reading him in October, so it's kind of tradition to read some of his stories around Halloween. Racist old nutter, but he can spin a good yarn. |
