Ew I hated Lolita so much, everyone always talks about how they end up sympathising with Humbert Humbert and I felt absolutely none for him.

Have you read Filth by Irvine Welsh? Bruce Robertson knocks HH out of the park on creeper level

They were probably closet pedos. I don't understand that. He's pretty much the worst person on Earth without any redeeming qualities. He's one of those people you see on the news in a mug shot and say, "I hope they give him the chair."

Nope. I'm a lazy reader and I've got a stack of books taller than me to read so I really have to get through them before I can read anything else. Especially something that's gonna have me feeling lifeless and contemplating suicide. I prefer Chuck Palahniuk for that kinda thing anyway. Not that he's anything like that, but you know what I mean.

Finished it last night. Now on to the films to see how they do. I expect I will like the 1962 version best but who knows.

I liked the book... alot. All monsters don't show their Freddie Kruger face. Speaking of monsters, Q is Humbert's doppelganger, yes?

Started "Lord of the Flies Today" read by Martin Jarvis. It took some doing to find this one. Most of them are read by the author and the narration is consider a big weak point.

Dude probably 90% of my bookshelves are filled with sword and sorcery. Do I sound like a literary person? Now if Robert Jordan is your idea of brilliance then I'm your man.
