Oh my god it was SO bad, I really liked Less Than Zero but the sequel was so pointless. I have BEE books coming out my ears though, like 3 copies of American Psycho
This is what I have picked out atm I'll probably grab more cause I have a big box but it's a good start I have SO many copies of Middlesex it's not even funny |

I've no idea what you're talking about here but, since you got through 'All the Pretty Horses' I hope that you will read/appreciate some more McCarthy (nevermind The Road - it's fairly weak). 'Child of God' is especially good.

That looks AWESOME, though I must admit I just found a copy of Middlesex at the library today and it's on my kitchen table along with (finally) Year of the Flood.
I do not know if you have now heard of my (legendary) surprise giftboxes, but I will send you one for this because you're rad and I don't deserve this. Engine: Yes, I'm still interested in McCarthy. His style is something I adapted to in time and I got around to enjoying the story beneath it. |

Oooh I'm excited!! I'll leave Middlesex out then and find a replacement, it is soooo good though, it's one of my favourite books of all time, I think I've read it at least 5 times

I'll also interject: 'Still Life With Woodpecker' is not only my favorite by Robbins but also one of the best things to come out of late 70s/early 80s American fiction.
