I've had the first book for years, but for some reason of other I kept not reading it or reading it partway through and getting sidetracked. Now I finally have the first three books, I'm about halfway through Game of Thrones and I'm gonna finish it this time damn it!

Quite an interesting read actually. Lot more to this guy then just his Military tours. I'm enjoying it. |

I'm starting a food and literature blog that I"m really excited about. I'm going to be talking about some of my favorite books and reviewing all types of things! I have a bunch of reviews up already as the blog was previously used for a teen lit course! I'll post as soon as I finish my next book!

Very intriguing short-stories (the signature wit and cynicism goes without saying.) Possibly the most preposterously addictive novel ever to have been written...and each reading is different from the previous. Add in some booze and this would be devoured up in a couple of days. |

Just finished High Fidelity. I enjoyed the book, even if it left me in a horribly depressed mood. I just have one thing to say...
Spoiler for Spoilers:

Jam by Yahtzee Croshaw It's a post-apocalypse novel about an organic eating strawberry-like jam substance that invades Brisbane Australia. So far it has been pretty funny and well written, but I'm just about half-way and I'm kind of wishing it was over. The main character has literally no personality, which is an active part of his character arc, but it still makes for hard read when there's just nothing there. Still if you're a fan of Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams, you'll get a lot out of this and his previous novel, Mogworld. |
