I always find myself revisiting Kundera during transitional stages of my life. I've never read this, but it's delivering so far. |

It's a lot more serious than Crooked Little Vein, which I actually kind of like. In some ways it reminds me of his comic series Fell, another police story that has little insights into the dehumanizing effects of urban decay. So far I'm enjoying it though. |
I have finally started the second book in A Song of Ice and Fire.
Something with kings. Who knows anymore. Yay. |

Quite an interesting read actually. Lot more to this guy then just his Military tours. I'm enjoying it. |
I'm starting a food and literature blog that I"m really excited about. I'm going to be talking about some of my favorite books and reviewing all types of things! I have a bunch of reviews up already as the blog was previously used for a teen lit course! I'll post as soon as I finish my next book!

Almost finish "The stone and the flute", and wondering why hasn't someone made a movie out of it.

Very intriguing short-stories (the signature wit and cynicism goes without saying.) http://loki.stockton.edu/~kinsellt/p.../picture30.jpg Possibly the most preposterously addictive novel ever to have been written...and each reading is different from the previous. Add in some booze and this would be devoured up in a couple of days. |
