Just finished:
Choke by Chuck Palahniuk Short read, but good. A little vague at times but it allows you to fill in the gaps at the end. A twisted story, with transparent characters. Unpredictable isn't the right word, but it's the first one that comes to mind. Overall good, but not great. 7.5/10 Currently reading: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith I took a reminder from Dr. Seussicide's post that I still had this waiting on my kindle. After seeing the movie trailer, I figured I have to read it as a prerequisite. Liking it so far. Will report back when finsihed.

I'll be waiting to see what you think of it, I've been very tempted to read it since it came out. It's just hard to convince myself to pick it up when I have a stack of books almost as long as my forearm waiting for me.

I usually am reading several things at once, but I've recently decided to narrow it down to increase my reading retention and get through books more efficiently. So far it's working out and I've been reading one work of fiction and one of nonfiction at a time.

Just started this. It's a collection of work from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I always read introductions to books, but this was the first book I've read where the introduction had chapters. The intro was meaty, with a lot of good biographical info on Doyle. I have made it through the first two chapters of The Lost World, and am impressed so far. As far as I can tell, it deserves the praise it gets. And this is my third recent 19th century sci fi/fantasy novel. I'm on a roll.

Love Dr. Krauss! The book leaked just after a week in 2012 (ebook/kindle) and I finished it in a day. It's automatically assumed that you've viewed his 'something from nothing' lecture as well. "Forget about Jesus - the stars died for us to be here." F'king classic!
