as for the others....i don't know....his mixture of moral theology and sci-fi starts to get on my nerves a bit....speaker was ok in my eyes and Xenocide just went off the deep end.....i have to admit that i'm interested in continuing the Bean side of things....seems like the "Shadow" series could be quite interesting Ender's Shadow is well worth the read though....i hope you enjoy it |

The Last Templar by Raymond Khoury
Third book in a week, I'm on a tear. This one is good so far, a lot of stuff going on. I might take a little longer to get through this one.

This was wonderful. My favorite Batman graphic novel I've read. I'm not big on Superman or any sort of Robin, and both were present...but as a whole, it was just too damn good for this to be a problem. Joker, Harvey Dent, new villains, aging Batman, Gordon retiring...yes, yes, yes. I also loved the artwork in this one. Plus, Frank Miller > All.

I really enjoyed Speaker for The Dead, it has some quotable lines and solid story telling. Xenocide has fallen short for me (he gets a bit sloppy with his writing and construction), though the sub-plot with the chinese family is very interesting.

We can build you is ****. The ending bares no relation to what's been going on during the bulk of the novel. All that happens is one character goes to a mental aslyum and the whole plotline just get's forgotten about. I've never read a book so pointless in my life before.

Men At Arms It's been awhile since I've read anything by Terry Pratchett, but this one has always been one of my favourites. Pratchett is such a unique fantasy author and the Diskworld is one of my favourite fictional universes. |
