I'm not much of a fantasy reader, but someone where I work turned me on to the Song Of Ice And Fire series by George R. R. Martin. It's quite excellent so far.

I think the relationship between Elizabeth and Darcy is beautifully done but the thing that bothers me about the book is how its like five times as long as it should be.
